How to cook Garlic Shrimp
Ingredients
• ⅓ cup butter 0.33 cup
• 1¾ lb. large shrimp, peeled and de-veined 1.75 lb.
• 5 medium cloves garlic, crushed and minced 5
• ⅓ cup chopped fresh parsley 0.33 cup
• 2½ tablespoon lemon juice 2.5 tablespoon
• salt, to taste
• 12 oz. of pasta Preferably angel hair pasta 12 oz.
Recipe Preparation
1. In large pot bring 4 quarts (4 l) of water to a rapid boil, reduce heat and cook on low until tender (about 9-11 minutes).
2. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat until butter stops foaming, about 30 to 45 seconds.
3. Add the shrimp and garlic and sauté over medium heat, turning frequently until the shrimp turns pink, about 4 to 5 minutes.
4. Add the parsley, lemon juice, and salt; stir well. Remove the pan from the heat, add shrimp to pasta and toss until evenly coated.
5. Serve immediately, for best results. Serves 4 fabulously!
Preparation time: 10 Min.
Cooking time: 20 Min.
